eric
Any one noticed an upsurge in butterfly numbers in their locality. In the field in front of my house where I walk my dogs there are masses of dark brown butterflies ( gatekeepers I think they are called) every time you walk a few paces you put up at least 15 or 20 at a time. Also last night around 10.30pm the amount of greenfly that I drove through was unbeliveable .Like it used to be in the 1960s. and the same go,es for drowned greenfly in my water butts, can only be good for the house martins and swallows .
