Gran
One of the farms we shoot has been suffering chicken losses over the past month or so, we have been up there regularly but keep bagging dogs & we are convinced the sudden change of M/O of the foxes is down to a vixen having cubs to feed. We bagged this big boy Weds night at about 8.30pm. http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/2392/foxpoole.jpg I have encountered another scruffy thin fox twice but not had the opportunity to take a shot & think this is the one doing the damage, I knew as soon as I scoped this one it wasn't the vixen we are after. At the end of the day she's got to be lucky every time we cross paths & I have only to drop lucky once so time is on our side. It's being cut at the weekend so that might give us the edge we need. Happy hunting this weekend. Gran

Gran
Been back tonight for a looksee & my mate tagged an adult dog & vixen cub. I won't rest until the adult vixen is in the bag. Biggest field is scheduled to be cut this weekend weather permitting so I'll be firmly ensconced there all set up & ready. Gran
