rooster Posted June 16, 2009 Report Share Posted June 16, 2009 Tried my lovely new .308 Howa at the weekend. Great except for the crap rings letting the scope move, will Burris Zees be ok?? MarinePMI Posted June 16, 2009 Report Share Posted June 16, 2009 Not sure about the hieght, but I'll give a big thumbs up on the Burris Signature rings! They're a pain to get set, but once set THEY DO NOT MOVE....EVER. Also, they don't mar the scope like purely steel rings. I've used both the Zee variety as well as the Weaver style, both have performed well. I'd think with a 50mm Obj lense, you'd need the high rings (that's the main reason I never go above 42-44mm Obj...too much height for a consistent cheek weld).
