furrybean
In .308 I use the Shooting Shed system which I really like - but now hes retired what is a good alternative? Ive got the hornady which is fine but is there anything better out there? I like the anvil/cup of the SS
Pat Allen
Dan . Short action customs comparator sets are excellent . Calibre specific though as datum’s off the shoulder angle . Really consistent measurements 👍

After all that last 0.001" makes such a difference 😁 I use a Hornady gauge with the better Sinclair steel insert for bullet comparison and the Hornady alloy inserts for case shoulders. Seems to work very well, easy and quickly adaptable between calibres.
