Shotgun ventilated/ported chokes

While rooting around one of my gun cabinets I found a pair of ventilated [ ported] Beretta shotgun chokes, something in the back of my mind tells me that they are banned, can anybody tell me if this is correct or are they still usable/sellable if that's a word.
