Guest 308Panther
I was wondering if someone could run a .223 load thru a ballistic program for me?? The bullet would be 77 grs and the barrel would be 20 inches...Could you figure how much energy and velocity it would have at 800yrds?? Thanks in advance. 308Panther
6mmBR
What velocity would it start with? Cheers Dave
Andrew
I can't find a 77 grain bullet in my data base but I can find 75 and 80 grain. The larger question is what is the starting velocity you're thinking of with that 20" barrel? ~Andrew
6mmBR
Get us the start velocity and I have 77gn Sierra Matchkings in my program and can give you velocity and drops. Cheers Dave
Guest varmartin
With a start velocity of about 2500 fps/ shooting a 77 grn berger vld.... at 800 yards you will have 1151 fps left and 221 ft-lbs left. using Xbal and Load from a disc.
