blueroll Posted July 17, 2022 Report Share Posted July 17, 2022 I see Peterson are producing 6x47L brass and wandered if the quality/consistency is on a par with Lapua 6.5x47L brass that I neck down for the 6. Andrew Posted July 19, 2022 Report Share Posted July 19, 2022 Only in 6.5 CM. Consistency in weight was dead-on. Needed to be FL resized out of the box for top accuracy. Loaded 50 from the same Lot out of the box and the accuracy was not as good as another fifty from the same Lot that I FL resized before loading. I’ve had some on back order for a while as it not a popular mainstream cartridge it’ll be a while longer I expect. Having Lapua brass as a plan B isn’t a bad situation to be in.
