Ratwhiskers
l've had a look on the "Look North" web site this evening to see if l can trace the story that's come out tonight about a North East (Durham/Northumberland) Copper who's been selling guns on the side (as soon as they put it up, l'll post it) The jist of the story is this..... Someone had a break in at their property and among the items stolen was a firearm... When the details of the aforementioned were investigated it turned out to be a unit that had supposed to have been "destroyed/stored" following a hand in to the police.... When further enquiries where made it turned out that the same (the copper not the property holder) chap had been selling guns of various types for some years, all be it to reputable license holders.... "Awt going cheap"???

Orka Akinse
"We have established where all of these weapons have gone and can confirm that they are in the possession of licensed shotgun or firearm certificate holders, all respectable members of the community." Its not often we law abiding, respectable members of society are described as such or are they over emphasising the fact [for their own ends] none of the firearms ended up in the hands of criminals as if that makes it better............... Nice to see the NFLMS is working just fine and dandy eh?
