I'm wanting to take one of my rifle scopes and Tactical lens covers back to a matt black finish. The colour was never an issue on my Stalking rifle with its mixture of colours in the stock, but looks out of place now for my other rifles with plain stocks. I bought it second hand a few years back and it looks like the previous owner had it hydro dipped a couple of times, in two different colours . I would prefer if the coatings could be removed and a new black finish applied. Any recommendations on who could do this, or if it is possible?
