bri2506
Im looking at rebarrelling a .222 tikka 595 to .17rem. Im looking for advice on who to use and any info on do and donts of rebarrelling, as the this is my first venture into customizing of rifles. Also any advice on wether its worth spending extra money on blue printing and bedding and such like.
6mmBR
I,ve had excellent results with using Neil AKA Dasherman on here for rebareling work. Also Dave AKA Baldie seems to be doing good work, he hasn't rebarrelled a gun for me but he has done some smithing work on a bolt for me which I was very pleased with. .17Rem is an interesting caliber I ran one for 15 years now sadly it is no more and the .22-250 Ackley now does her job on foxes. Cheers Dave
17 Rem
Dasherman has re-barreled 4 rifles for me now, including a 17 Rem, so I know he has the reamer you require. His work is truly excellent, reasonably priced and done exactly when promised.
