7MM RUM
I love Tahr Hunting.Im new at it but these animals are certainly right up there as one of our top NZ game species. They generally live in mountain terrain which at best is inhospitable. On this trip we were spotting them from the truck before begining a km climb straight up. I shot this bull at 430yds My mate and I shot six other bulls that day and dragged a heap of meat off the hill! This has got to be some of the most fun you can have with your pants on - Oh and you need to be fit!
