As already mentioned the finish on the metal work really works well and is of particular interest to me. It looks like a matt black/charcoal finish? Sakoboomstick Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 Elwood, the rifle is finished in 'Parker' its pretty similar to the finish on a jet z compact mod, all the metal work has been done including bottom metal. the matt finish is excellent and the application is flawless. the rifle is a sako 75 col off here did the bolt, i sent it and received it back complete in no time at all all in all it looks pretty good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The colour is a 2 part finish...my own recipe of course... It is meant to look like the phosphate finish on some gun parts and it seems to work well, it even has the porous look to it.
