dogfox
Hi A friend of mine has just had a bill for the repair of range finder binos from Leica. He was using them whilst stalking and the focus wheel come off in his hand. He also had to have to have two new eye caps which have been broken through use. The bill was £380 for the repair. I think that I will stick with Swarovski( I have a pair of Leica range finder binos ). Anytime that anything have gone wrong with my swarovski binos or scopes they have done the work free of charge and done in two weeks. I do not think much of leica 30 year guarantee. JC275
I feel sorry for your mate, I guess the lesson there is to always get a quote but you would expect better service from Leica. I have had brilliant service from Zeiss and, more recently Swarovski. I'm afraid that this is a sign of the times, even the good guys seem to be caring a lot less these days. Chris-NZ
I managed to lose one screw-out eyecup on mine (from rough handling..) and Leica US replaced it free without question. No complaints from me. Chris-NZ
