Greenbear Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hi All, A serious question, has anybody used A Max for deer stalking, I have two boxes of 168g for my .308 which shoot superb, but I am not 100% happy to use them for deer. I am not talking legalities as we all now where the law stands I am tempted to move them on for a box of 165g Sierra gamekings Has anybody had first hand exprience of using A Max, I am aware the fox boys love them in the .22's Just a thought Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Tiff Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Getting into the low hundreds on roe and red with the .308 155 A-MAX's. Everything from 8 to 400+ yards. They are the only bullets I use in .308 now. Have got hundreds (literally) of photos if you want proof of expansion Never had a deer go more than 25 yards on them.
