foxhunter
Out with David last night under the full moon on a small pheasant shoot as the shoot captain had seen another fox on the last shoot of the season. After a circuit of the whole shoot and seeing nothing we were heading back to the car when I flicked the lamp into the last field and caught those ruby eyes staring back. We were at one side of the field and the fox at the other side of the field couched in a hedge , David took this very smelly vixen in fine style , neck shooting her at 240 paces . 6mmBR
Cracking shot, always good to get a vixen at this time of the year. Just watch out you may pick up a dog fox in the same terratory. Cheers Dave
foxwhistler
Excellent shooting when you can knock them down at that sort of range! Well done.
