That bald headed Geordie
If anyone has any 6mm 105gr JLK and 6mm 107gr Sierra Matchking bullets can you tell me the actual bullet diameters please. To cut a long story short, I have a new Bartlein barrel chambered in 6BRA on my Heavy gun and I believe it is on the tight side. During testing using my current bullet Berger 105gr VLD and powder N150 the Mv is only 2830 as opposed to 2960 in the previous barrel and the powder charge is down from 32gr to 29.1gr. It might be that by using another bullet which has a smaller nominal diameter it will be a better fit in the Bartlein. I have measured the Berger 105gr vlds and it is 0.243. So if anyone has any JLKs and Sierras and would measure them it would be appreciated. Cheers for the info, I might get a box of Lap Scenars and work up a load to see how they compare Mv wise with the Berger 105gr vlds.
