dogfox1
Hi, Does anyone have any experience with a D760 2gen night sight or similar physical designed unit. I really do like the D760 and find I get consistently good groups (Nearly on par with a day light scope on the same rifle.) with the unit and feel quite comfortable using it, but the problem is every few weeks I get a zero shift which can be up to 8" @ 80 yds. The problem is that front lens moves and so causes the zero to shift. Believe me, I treat the unit with kid gloves, even had a bespoke hard case made to transport the unit while it is mounted and frightened to sling the rifle over my shoulder just in case the front lens gets the slightest knock. Surely these units should be more sturdy and reliable than this. Does anyone know of any companies or contacts that can offer advise or repair these units Many thanks Dogfox
PeteL
Dogfox, You could try these guys: opticalrepairs.com/index.html They say on the site that they repair nightscopes . Never had any dealings with them, so no feedback. Peter
