Alycidon Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 I use a Leica 1200 range finder, had it maybe 4 years. When trying to range in fog/drizzle I cannot get a reading much beyond 50 yards, certainly I can see further. Also I am getting some inconsisitant readings in good weather, I ranged a target board on Saturday, it ranged 100-102 yards mainly (there was a bush behind it so maybe I hit the bush) but I got an odd reading at 92 yards, there was nothing in front of the board except short grass. I am normally taking three readings and averaging them but I dont recall doing that when I first bought it. Battery is new. Ironically it works just as well at night. Anybody else have these issue's?, if so whats the cure. How do rangefinder binos stack up in the fog/drizzle. A Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
