Ro6.5
Has anyone done any testing on the tier-one monomount regarding returning to zero? I’d be interested to hear any results? Looking at mounting a day scope and a thermal scope on one rifle but want 100% return to zero for both units. (Obviously replicating mounting and torque settings) If anyone has any other ideas i’d be glad to hear them?
Catch-22
I’ve used the Era-Tac one piece QD mount for my S&B PMII 5-25x56 for the last few years and I cannot fault them. Ive never lost my zero after repeatedly taking it on and off, even when shooting the .338NM barrel. The QD leavers are chunky, very well made, easy to manipulate yet can’t be accidentally undone. GT3_richy
What thermal are you using? the mounts for that will be the weak link in all likeliness, unless its a Thermion or other unit that uses normal picatinny rings/mono.
Ro6.5
It is the thermion and a 8.32 nightforce I am looking at mounting.
