shrek
As above really, finally got hold of some 105 a-maxes for the 243, Just thought i would also give them a go in the 6BR to see how they go... So anyone got any loads which they would like to share, I am using mainly N140, Varget but also have a small quantity of N150 left so any data for these powders would b greatly appreciated Regards and seasons greetings, Shrek! 6mmBR
29.5gn N150 105 A max 10 thou off the lands. Mild load giving 2670 fps from 24" barrel, it is so dam accurrate you won't miss a few extra fps. Or if you want a bit of woomf try 32gn Vit N540 with the 105 A max again 10 thou off this gives a velocity of 2885fps with a 24" barrel, this is a serious varmint exploder, work up with this load. MV 2950 - 3050 What barrel length are you using in 6 BR to get such high muzzle velocities? If I get over 2900fps with varget or N540 starting to show some real pressure issues.
