LAR manufacturing Inc. (now owned by Remington) are one of the largest manufacturers of AR-15 lower and upper receivers in the USA. They make their own forgings and manufacture receivers for many well known AR "brands". The receivers are machined from forged 7075-T6 aircraft quality aluminum, Type 3 Black anodized and baked with a Teflon coating. As such they have a very nice and durable finish.

Krieger Barrels are widely considered one of the best barrel makers in the world and rifle all their barrels using single-point cut-rifling. Krieger barrels are extremely accurate and I have personally shot sub 0.75 MOA with this rifle rested at 100 yards. The 1/8 twist allows use of a wide range of bullet weights and chambering in .223 Wylde allows use of both .223 Remington and 5.56.
