njc110381
Hey guys. I'm not sure if this sort of kit is your thing, but if it is do any of you have a good load you could recommend? My friend is just looking into reloading for his and all we have to fire at the moment is old military ammo. Is there anything out there that we could use for Deer (expanding heads)? I don't know where to start regarding ideal bullet weights for the twist etc Any advice would be welcome to get us started! Cheers
MarinePMI
7.5 Swiss can use standard .308 load data (virtually identical case capacity). As always start low, and work up...
nemasis243
i take it ,it is for your 6.5x55. A good friend of mine has had great results with two make of ammo, these are Federal and RWS. The RWS were very good, these were 140 grn twin-core The Federal were 140grn Soft piont Winchester were rubbish and grouped like a shotgun. I think your gona have to try a few different types to see what suits your musket
