have fun with your man time, nothing like the feeling when you know you can do whatever you want for a few days just make sure you get home at least 2 hours before her so you can do the dishes, vacuming, hide anything she doesnt know you own etc.

Cheers guys just come in from an evenings bunny bashing on a ploughed field the farmers going to plant cauliflowers soon.

Only problem is rabbits are hard to see in plough and I took my Harris bipod with me not my extending tripod, so when I lay prone to shoot I couldn't see the buggers.

Never miind I can go back tomorrow and hopefully get things right

Cheers

Going for a second look tonight with my mate Brian. I'm going to take my standing tripod sticks so I can get some hight to look down on the plough. It's not as steady as shooting prone but it all adds to the challenge. Its pretty windy on those cliffs so I think I'll take the BR

Cheers guys

Looks a bit like our area here,

especially the pic of the sea.

If I take someone along they have

to carry the shooting sticks. If i'm alone

the bipod has to do.... and sometimes doesn't.

Cheers guys, our coast line is very similar to parts of the west coast of Ireland.

Well tonight was a lot better, Brian was the main man tonight he pulled off 2 great shots. The best was 210yds and another 190yd'er. I managed a nice 180yd woody which was feeding on the farmers cauliflowers.

We finished the night on 6 rabbits and a pigeon, which was very pleasant.

We did try for a fox to round off the evening but Charlie didn't show sadly but a pleasant evening was had by both of us.

Cheers

Hi Ray seen you've been busy on that other thread ;)

The 6.5 is going fine I've sorted out a cracking fox load with the 95 Vmax and a deer load with 100 gn Noslers. I'm srruggling to get a target load with the Lapua 123 Scenars only problem best accuracy comes at silly pressures  . I've got some Bergers on order from Norman Clarks I'll see if they're any better.

Cheers

Dave
