ejg223
Had a busy day at work, after pissing off I quickly made 25 rounds and took my 9 year old daughter to quickly zero the 22-250. Then off to a long valley for a walk. The calling didn't work lately in that valley so we stayed high to overlook a big area. My daughter glassing as it was getting dusk. We spotted a fox sitting in the grass looking at us 320m away. No decent lay up just prone with the high bipod and nothing under the butt. First round missed, fox ran- stopped , missed again damn. Third time the fox stopped I tried a bit harder. He just rolled over, checked 302m. Phone rang, as I got off the phone I saw another one hunting a bank 235 m. Wel that one went with the first shot. Didn't bother collecting as we needed to get home. Nice weather, nice company, not too bad shooting ....good edi
6mmBR
You've got to grab the opportunities as you can with the weather at the moment. Like me last night you've just got to grab the gun and go. A good result and a fine way to end the working week. Cheers Dave

ejg223
Thanks for the replies, even the zeroing works better with good weather. 3 shots to find the target, then after cooling off two rounds to see position to bull. The two shots. edi
