Why do they look like the top part is a smaller tube size than the bottom??? Optical illusion?

Thats what badgers are like but they have matching serial numbers and one should be visible on the right hand ring in the picture, also there should be a step in the bottom ring near the join. These dont quite look right. Happy to be proved wrong.

The rings in the first picture are not the same rings in the second picture (which are BO's), what height are the rings you are selling (presume second picture??)

 

Will a pm2 5-25 x 56 clear the rail with these?

Jeez... so am I, I have no idea where that first image came from, I dont even have a wooden table like that. I only have one set of 34mm steel rings and they are the ones shown in the second picture.

The height from the top of the rail to the bottom of the scope tube is 8.5mm, which I believe is medium on the BO web site.
