Was doing some digging

This is a late 1917 Winchester made model

One of only 235,393 made

(the vast majority were made by Remington under Lee Enfield design)

This one also escaped the Weedon Repair Standard "renovations" that were carried out at the in preparation for World War 2. A process that saw many original features deleted (volley sights front and rear, stock changes, Receiver changes)

The P14 was often adopted as a sniper rifle as despite the lower rate of fire and smaller magazine capacity it was found to be significantly more accurate, mainly due to the rear mounted volley sight compared to the SMLE mid mounted rear sight.

A very clean example of an unmodified 1917 P14

my initial pricing was prior to this discovery but will stand

models in this condition go for between £5-700
