sandersj89
I have picked up a ultrasonic cleaner for a few quid. The instructions just say use warm water or a touch of detergent to clean items but I thought some thing stronger was used by reloaders, is there a best solution for cleaning brass? mildot
I use 2-3 cycles of need distilled vinegar to good effect. once finshed put into sink with warm soppy water to rid the vinegar then in airing cupboard to dry. done hundreds of cases this way. huntsman
Tried ultrasonic cleaning tonight for first time. brother is a dentist and has an old machine just added "DURR" instrument disinfection to water and ran a trial time of 15mins for 5 cases ,quite good results so added the remaining 15 for a further 15 minutes, primer pockets spotless and inside of neck looked good too. 1. is it possible to damage cases with ultrasonic cleaning ? 2. will particular chemicals damage cases? given that this solution is designed for stainless steel. dave
