gbal
Sako have used several classifications-check with Sako's own listings. The action sizes run like AI;AII;AIII;A IV..... There are also L461 (the 222 -PPC size) and L579 (243 etc) and long action.. Then there are the generic labels, like Vixen (for the AI and L461);Forrester (for L579 and AII) and Finnbear for the long actions...(sort of short, medium, long actions...) And of course the later models,75 then 85 (in the A series action sizes, but no generic names) and not forgetting some earlier others like 491...(AI/L461 222 size). Sometimes the labels are carelessly used by users/sellers etc So does an AI action fit a vixen stock -probably,I'd be more confident if it was clearly a L461 Vixen rifle...(17,222,223,PPCs) and you might need to consider varmint barrel v sporter too.... Just needs some care,really-and trial fitting if possible. Worth the effort, fine rifles. gbal
