7mm Norma Magnum ammo boxes

Does anyone know of the best make / type of ammo box suitable for holding the 7mm Norma Magnum round , ' bullet up '

Hi G,

 

Here's some options for you;

 

1. MTM H-50, the type with a handle on top, 4.5" tall.

2. Cabelas 416 magnum

3. Berry's 112/416 Mag.

 

#1 Is the best, it is a 50rd box, with plenty of space.

#2 & #3 are 20rd capacity boxes - quite handy, they are identical, so I don't know if they are made for Cabelas by Berry or vice-versa.

 

Beware of a similar MTM product; the MTM R-50 "Magnum Rifle", it will take your cases, but is just a bit tight, and may not take long loads.

Thank you Des , In the past for the 7 x 68 Imp I bought one of the MTM storage boxes for Dies and one of the standard 100 round boxes and put the black insert into the storage box which was an expensive way but worked . Not sure if this is still an option with the bigger bolt face of the Norma and if MTM still do the storage box .

Greg,now this beastie is safely in it's box,is it a wildcat necked (newish) 300 Norma Mag (rather than the older 308 Norma Mag) -or a Norma cartridge "proper" ie factory? Thanks.

Wildcat , 300 case necked down to 7mm to shoot the 195's a long way
