Guest northernchris Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 I load for a few of .243 Ack Imp sticks, two of them i use in 45.8 gr of N160 (warm load running 3333fps out of a 24" tube) under a 90gr nosler Ballistic tip would run well out of your 1-10".We did try 95gr Nosler BT but they wouldnt shoot worth a that which promotes growth and vigour even driving them real hard. varminter Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 243 ackley with 1 in 10 twist!!! Try the 87 V-max - has a BC of 0.400 and should be a awesome longrange varmint round!!!!! I had a 243 ackley with a 1 in 9 twist and it shot these well.............. All the best...................................... RAY..........................................
