n8ess
Has anyone tried to adjust the trigger pull on a Sako Quad, is it something you could do yourself or is it better left to a gunsmith. Bees

n8ess
go on to this site and go to forum and then to sakohttp://rimfirecentral.com/ all the info is on there john Thanks John, I have copied from the forum, just in case anyone else is interested. Bees I believe the basic directions are in the owners manual, but here goes. First take the action out of the stock, there is a large allen head screw that secures the trigger group to the underside of the action, a smaller allen head screw is in the face of the trigger group directly to the side of that larger screw. Turn the smaller allen head screw out until it contacts the larger screw. You now have the trigger set as low as it will go with the factory spring. I have replaced springs in both of my rifles and now am at 12-14 ozs. on them, but thats another matter. If you're doing this its a good time to replace your factory screw with the new ones you've ordered from Pete and Jim, don't know if you got the Spring kit or not, if not you should consider it as its top-notch also.
