srvet Posted February 17, 2016 Report Share Posted February 17, 2016 Don't know about the 17h but I had one in 222 and loved the rifle except the wing safety that fouled on the bottom of the scope with low mounts. The one I had (1712 in 22LR) locked at the back of the bolt only, however looking at the current 223 build specs this may have been changed, something to check. I've now purchased a tired 1730 in .22 hornet and will be updateing on hear with its progress!!! in the meantime does anyone no were I can get spare mags for the action even a larger capacity one would be nice.
