Looking to swap my nightforce nxs 5.5-22x56 high speed. 25 moa -np-2dd (c233) (non zero stop)boxed,for a vortex razor gen 1 5-20x50 with rings.

Hand on heart, I feel that the Razor Gen 2 HD is the best scope out there. Leagues better than NF, S&B PM2, Hensoldt (owned all of those). I know the OP is asking for a Gen 1 and unfortunately I have no experience of those but I can certainly vouch for the 4.5-27x56 Gen 2.

I agree, the gen 2 is a serious contender in the high end scopes, iv got other nightforce scopes and fancied a change, the gen 2 is not a fair swap as it's worth more second hand, the gen 1 razor fits what I'm looking for.
