Remington 243 bullet weight

Been offered a very cheap Remington CDL. Looks like it has been pillar a tex bedded and has a 24" barrel. I wasn't after a 243 , but thinking I have brass and loading kit for it so keep as a 243 then at re-barrel time, have something more obscure.

Anyway, the barrel is supposed to be a 1-9.125 tiwist. Any ideas what weights it will deal with? I have read it would handle a 105 A-Max, but I have my doubts. Be could if it could as I would use it for some long range shooting,

The only way to find out what it likes is to run several types / loads through it , the CDL has a sporter barrel ? so would not suit long range comp shooting , personally I would not buy a used rifle that I could not try out first as many are shot out or being a Remmy just plain crap from day one.
