dasherman
Rebarrelled Steyr SSG69 from .243 to 6.5x47mm Lapua. Old shrunk in barrel was removed and action threaded so future barrel changes are simple. Pics of this are on my Mckillop Engineering Ltd facebook page. I built this for a range day I recently attended but also to establish a method of rebarreling these actions. Has fired 70 shots plus proof rounds. The donnar rifle was like new but had sustained damage to the barrel. 26" Pacnor straight taper barrel, screwcut 5/8"x18UNF with thread protector 5 shot .243 mag that feeds 6.5x47 cartridges well. 30mm Steyr rings [action has 20moa built into the dovetails] Harris bipod stud fitted to target rail in stock All metalwork cerakoted stainless £1250 [mod in pic not included]
