n8ess
Considering 243 Ackley improved, I would be interested in any comments on this cartridge. I currently have a Tikka 595 in 223 which I must say is an excellent rifle, I want to try home loading at the same time so again any comments would be appreciated. Andy if it is holding on to the round for to long, you can bend the tabs on the box back slightly this will/should let the round lift that bit earlier, its hard to call with out looking at it. but it should feed OK as the ones we have/had all have. ATB Colin Hi col thats exactly what it does but it looks like the outer side of the action holds it to long to be honest and not the mag its much betetr if 2+ rounds are in the mag & it feeds from the left side! I havent had a good look at it yet as i only ever put one round in a cf anyhow the rest are on the butt! ill have to have a play in the near future:-) Andy

Do you have any suggestions for rifle. Thanks Neil
Sakoboomstick
get one and you will never look back. .243 AI is a fantastic round, you can fire factory ammo through it and that will fireform the cases, after that it to the loading bench to get the best from it.
