Guest Tiff
I've got an almost immaculate 1903 Carl Gustafs with the shorted 24" barrel, 100-600 v block sights, the blueing is almost 100% and there is only a bit of tarnishing on the steel bolt and butt plate. The bore is in excellent condition and has been marked so by the Swedish armourer on the brass disk. The woodwork has got an old 5p size chip on the lower part of the butt, but apart from that is by far the best example I've seen with 'tiger eye' like ripples in the wood. I have also got the original leather sling (works but deserves a rest after 105 years!) and 5 stripper clips. So what would this be worth now? baldie
They are fetching around £250 in that sort of nick buddy. We bought one in like it last week. They are a lovely rifle, and shoot very well. Unfortunatly, they are not rare, and most examples are good, owing to the fact they saw no combat use, so they aren,t worth what people think. Now if you have an SS marked k98k.......................bring it to baldie
