mike82
Gents, I'm in the market for a .22lr Bolt Action Rifle I was thinking of buying a used 1417 Anschutz however I like the look of the Lithgow Crossover what would you do? I have had a .17 HM2 Sako Quad in the past - and I didn't keep it long... Mike
MrCetrizine
What will it be used for?
mike82
90% informal club shooting & 10% rabbits..... I also like the look of the 1416 D HB......with 23" barrel
stillair1
I would go for the 1416dhb over the 1417 if your mostly target shooting. It wll give a more stable platform imo, owning a 1417 and a p94s myself. I believe the dhb comes with a single stage trigger as standard over the 2 stage of the 1417, so you might want to ask for a variation to 2 stage at the time of purchase. David Hancock
Weihrauch HW66 Jagd-Match - IMHO stunning. Or get an Anschutz and restock it.

David Hancock
Production is also nice IF you can get one out of Hull Cartridge. They do not seem to realise what a good product they have. Action is sublime !
mike82
Went for a s/h Anschutz 1417 in the end... Thanks, Mike
