Volquartsen Carbon Fibre Match Barrel for .22LR Ruger 10/22

OK. The time has come to send my old Ruger 10/22 off to "Freddy the Deactivator" and then re-dress it in tacticool bits (Marauder G36 kit) for a bit of fun once it's back and off-ticket. One drawback that I forsee is that it currently has a Volquatrsen Carbon wrapped barrel which won't take kindly to attack with a cutter &/or MIG welder.

Won't do Freddy's lungs much good either !

So, I though I would see if there is anybody out there interested in swapping the barrel first,,,

It's the 12.5" long one. It weighs 18oz and comes with a 1/2" UNF adapter so you can add a moderator.

A must, as even subsonics are loud from such a short tube.

New price is £295.

How's about £150 plus "exchange" barrel in return ?
