Sat out on the patio the other week and the wife says"theres a rat in the dog kennel, I've just seen it" I nipped into the house and got the air rifle. Squatted down to see inside and there was a baby blackbird in the corner. Picked it up and put it on the rockery. It kept chirping out and getting a reply from somewhere near. We moved to the other end and its parents came and took it away. The male has a prominent white speck on his breast and we feed them daily.
