527vamint
I'm just thinking out loud,if I was to have the barrel changed what are the options. It's currently a 1/9" twist. I could go for 1/7-1/8 twist, but what different calibers could I have. I have looked on the net and the 223 case with a 6mm head keeps popping. 527vamint
What I'm looking for is a list of variations that I can research ponder over. It's going to be used for foxing varminting and target use mainly 100m-300 and we have a bit of wind on one range and almost non on the other. Will look at the 20practical thanks. kennym
A .20 will rebarrel onto your action & it uses 223 casings, only issue is you have to home load (starter kits for reloading can be bought new for under £300) this is pretty new to me im looking at going down this route, hardy any recoil means you will see the hits in the scope, this round is said to out perform the
Shuggy
A CZ 527 in .221 Fireball would make an interesting choice. You can get Lapua brass.
