andybrock
Hi all Has anyone else had any problems with the magnetospeed not working? Works fine for a couple of shots then doesn't register any. Cheers Danny. I had this problem when I first got mine, it turned out to be operator error not having it the correct height and not in line with the bore. I would imagine you've checked this? Dac9976
I had this problem when I first got mine, it turned out to be operator error not having it the correct height and not in line with the bore. I would imagine you've checked this? I've always had it set at the same height, worked fine. I'll try a new battery. Didn't think it would be the battery as there's still stuff on the screen just doesn't register the shot. Cheers Danny
DW58
Ensure the following: Bayo is level Bay is parallel to bore - use square section rod provided Bayo is tightly mounted to barrel - movement can cause the unit to fail to record Check batery - I find 2x CR123 preferable to the 9v jobbie provided Archive shots often Do all above and it ought to work well - ours does. DW58
It was the batteries lol Cheers Danny. Tip - the V3 (and posibly previous models) can take either 9v 2-stud or 2x CR123 batteries - IMO the 9v batteries are never very reliable, I use the CR123 type which lat longer and connect more reliably.
