Borisserge
Just a quick show n tell. I had a Sako 75 308, and my friend had a left hand (the devil's work....) remington 308, both of which really could do with a freshen up and makeover........ We enlisted the services of James Clarke (Jager SA) to fit a 26" Bergara barrel on both, the Remington in 308, and the Sako 75 in 6.5x47L and a Cerakoting on the outside. We have still do do a proper job to do on load development soon, but seeing how the 308 performs with factory ammo so far at sub 1/2" @100, we will have many deer in the future taken off the hill with confidence. James gave a quick turnaround time and cracking price on both of these rifles - recommended!
srvet
Looks good, can I ask why did you go for such a long barrel on a stalking rifle?
Borisserge
Predominantly hillside deer work and then range play at weekends. ...For my friend, it's 2 rifles in the cabinet does all - 223 and 308.
