banus02 Posted September 19, 2014 Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 hi,does any one know if a standard .243 barrel on a pro hunter rifle can be changed for a heavy fluted barrel,i have been told no,by some and yes by others but not by a gun smith....steyr say the barrel is threaded in so should not be a problem.others say it is heat shrunk in any help greatfully received.
