6.5shooter
Hi all, Anyone got any data for reloader 15 in the good old swift? Got some reloader 15 going spare and wondered if anyone is using it in their swift?
Laurie
No experience, but nearly all US bullet manufacturers' handloading manuals list loads for Re15 in the Swift, so it's a mainstream powder. You don't say what bullet weight, but here's what the main three say for 55gn bullets: Nosler shows 33.0 - 37.0gn for its two 55s for 3,662 fps max from a 26-inch barrel. Hornady's max is 36.3gn for a claimed 3,700 fps (26-inch barrel). Sierra shows 37.9gn max for 3,700 fps same barrel length with its 55s.
6.5shooter
I want to use it with 52 grain bullets, there isnt anything mentioning it in my lyman manual but I will give it a whirl and see how it fairs out. Many thanks Laurie.
