Fitting a pod lock to a Harris bi pod.

I can't seem to get my handle facing down when tight

its a ratchet lock mech.

 

Pull and hold the handle away from the bipod and then move handle to required position. Allow to 'go forward' and voila

If it is a KMW Pod-Loc (copy righted name, no idea how to put the little 'c' in a circle into a post ) then the arm should pull towards you a few mm and allow you to position it at any location then spring back and stay there.

 

No idea if its a copy?
