Berger Vlds

I watched a Berger video on Youtube where they stated that the Vld match and Vld hunting rounds are exactly the same apart from jacket thickness. They said you could switch between both and have no change in performance.

 

Has anybody done this? Reason being I have some Berger Vld hunting on order but while I am waiting could I find a load for the match ammo then switch to the hunting ammo without needing to do another load development?

 

Anybody have experience with this?

Ive used both 180 hunting and 180 target VLD's using the same load, they worked though fine tweaking of .'s of a grain showed some gain over a standard load for both.

 

This is in a target rifle.
