Nicky Posted March 7, 2014 Report Share Posted March 7, 2014 Hi to everyone, I have SPS Remmy in 223, I am looking for a bullet for reloading , it is for Canada geese cull, the slight difference is it MUST have maximum knock down , but it must not pass through the bird. The difference to the shooting is it is being done on and around water, maximum 50-100 yards, I don't want the bullet to pass through and skip the water,like a bouncing bomb ! garyw Posted March 7, 2014 Report Share Posted March 7, 2014 i have "thinned out" canadas in the past i used the 40vmax in my .22br.they didnt exit but the burst pillow effect was evident. you will do well to get 3 shots off before they get the jitters and scarper. they will do well in the .223 if the twist is right.
