17 Rem Posted January 4, 2014 Report Share Posted January 4, 2014 I have a Sako sporter style McMillan on my Sako actioned 22 ppc with a length of pull of 13 1/2 inches, including its rubber recoil pad. This LOP seems to be about standard for these stocks, but it's just too short for me. The pad seems to be bonded on, rather than screwed. I'd like a LOP of at least 14" on this stock. Any ideas? Spray1Mark Posted January 4, 2014 Report Share Posted January 4, 2014 They are screwed on, the holes are almost invisible though, 13.5" "is standard LOP, if you poke a screwdriver in hard enough you will find the screws, any good gunsmith can make you a 1/2" spacer.
