Missed Posted December 24, 2013 Report Share Posted December 24, 2013 He is often vilified because due to USSR foreign policy, his design fell into the wrong hands and was often used in many actions around the world. I would suggest that he was a humble, honourable man who thought a great deal more about his homeland than many others do today. Had his design not been available for use, some other weapon would have been used, Rwanda being an example where the weapon of choice was nothing more than a parang.
